With excitement and thrill, Springfield enjoyed the Children's Fair for Entrepreneurs

Springfield, MA-. Full of laughter and joy, the citizens of Springfield enjoyed the first Children's Fair for Entrepreneurs, an event held by the company Harmony Entertainment and Acton Children.

The family union was present at Kenefick Park last Saturday, where more than 22 sponsors, including TD Bank, Gandara Mental Health, Centro Cultural y Deportivo Dominicano, Plar Auto Repair, Mass Miami, and A & L Love Day Care, offered their services.

These young entrepreneurs’ creativity and sales skills surprised the attendees who, without a doubt, bought the products without thinking about it.

Educational games, art, pastries, and drinks were the businesses chosen by children and young to live their first business experiences.

Without parental help

For the fair, the children had to create a product or service, develop a brand, build a marketing strategy, and on the day of the event decorate, organize, and sell at their workplace without help from their parents.

The judges went unnoticed throughout the fair while they did their jobs. They approached the booths, asked questions, and bought the products if the children convinced them.

The event was supported by the vice consul for Boston, José Ventura, Latino's Economic Development president, Andrew Meléndez, state representative Carlos Gonzales, and patrons Alexander Cordero and Crispín Matos.

The senator for Springfield, Adam Gómez, also joined this fair and invited children and young people not to give up on their dreams of being the future Latino entrepreneurs of the city.

Meanwhile, the operations manager, Josefina Arias, added that: “We will continue to advance and support our new generations so that they become the leaders, artists, and entrepreneurs who will transform our future.”
